Fine edge blending

This is a 3 image exposure blend I took this past weekend. I'm fairly happy with the result but where I'm having trouble is around the tree line. I am having issues getting a good selection that looks natural. In the end I used the colour selection tool. Would love some feedback and suggestions to improving this area of the image.

Your result is not too bad Flora,  in fact it's a very beautiful image with fantastic skies and mood. and a spooky barn with lots of character. There are a few brighter spots between the branches of the trees on the right and between the pieces of wood on the roof.  They're not too visible, but to cover those, I would personally use Raya Pro to select the highlights.  Then, on the layer created by Raya Pro I would change the blend mode to darken, and I would use a paint brush to select from the color of the sky right near the right side of the trees, and paint the area that you want to fix.  I think that will give you a more seamless result.See the image attached for an example of what I obtained by doing that.  You probably have to zoom in a lot to see the difference.  The version on the left is yours, and the one on the right is the one I adjusted.  I hope this helps.

@fvanw would it be possible to upload the original files but as small jpegs so we can see what you're working with?

Thanks

@mariad, thank-you I always forget about using the brush to selectively paint in color, that worked. ?

Attached is the newer version using Maria's suggestion and a bit more luminance masking in the sky.

Glad it worked Flora  🙂

This was to fix it after the fact, but it may be possible to do the blending right and not even need to fix it afterwards.  I didn't look at the originals yet.
